Growing up in a rural area, I witnessed firsthand the challenges farmers face in accessing markets. After receiving a scholarship to study Computer Science at the University of Rwanda, I decided to use my skills to make a difference. I am currently developing a mobile application that connects farmers directly with buyers, eliminating middlemen and increasing profits for small-scale farmers.
My journey has not been easy. Coming from a low-income family, I had to work part-time jobs while studying to support myself. But every challenge has made me stronger and more determined to succeed. I believe technology can transform lives, especially in underserved communities.
Through Bihak Center's mentorship program, I have received invaluable guidance on project management, entrepreneurship, and software development best practices. I am now preparing to launch my app in pilot communities.
